Maria Luíza - Unit 3

I usually travel to Rio de Janeiro on my vacation and I go by car. I frequently go to Rio with my parents.

It is very interesting and beautiful. There are many beaches and hills there. The Sun shines a lot in Rio. It's a very warm city!There are lots of tourists in Rio de Janeiro. There,I can go to the beach, to the shopping mall, to Corcovado(Cristo Redentor) and to Pão de Açúcar.

I am going to travel to Rio de Janeiro this year and I'm going in December.I am going to have lots of fun,walk and see my friends.

I can play volleyball, soccer and handball, but not very well. I usually play them at school. I can't

play any instruments, but I can write very well! I can speak two languages: English and Portuguese.

As I said before, I live in Ipatinga. It is a great, big, and beautiful city. There are 241.720 inhabitants. There are some tourist attractions like, Parque Ipanema, Lagoa Silvana, Parque das Cachoeiras, Estação Memória. The Shopping Mall is a nice place for teens to go in my city.

I would like to visit Paris. There I can visit the Eiffel Tower, museums, churches, parks and eat fondue.

I would like to visit the United States too, because there, I can see famous people, go to Disneyworld, New York, etc.

I like sports and I can play soccer very well. I can also play handball very well. I play soccer at Criativa. I can´t play any instruments but I can speak English and Portuguese.

My city is big and beautiful. There are about 240.000 inhabitants. There are some tourist attractions like, Usipa , Silvana lake, Ipanema Park, Estação Memória, Clube Parque das Cachoeiras, etc. The mall is a very nice place for teens to go in my city.

I would like to visit London. There I can go to parks, churches and museums. I can also see the Big Ben, the Buckingham Palace and go to pubs and Hyde Park.
